International Forum for Democratic Studies

As a hub for research and analysis of representative government around the world, the Forum at the National Endowment for Democracy links the academic community with pro-democracy activists.

In the midst of investigations into the role foreign deeds and messaging may have played in the U.S. presidential election, we were hired to design and produce a 156-page report examining Chinese and Russian influence in Argentina, Peru, Poland, and Slovakia that introduced new language to the global lexicon.

Our cover solution clearly illustrated the title with bold graphics meant to display well at small scale and in an online environment. Inside, we paid careful attention to the pacing of content, using pull quotes and photography to provide visual relief in the copy-dense publication. Teamwork and clear communication with our client were essential to meet their distribution deadline for this timely report.
