This public information initiative is a clearinghouse for cutting edge neuroscience. Founded by The Kavli Foundation, The Gatsby Charitable Foundation, and the Society for Neuroscience, BrainFacts.org is a joint effort dedicated to unraveling the mysteries of the brain. Through carefully curated content and a thoughtfully organized layout, this beautifully illustrated book was designed to serve as “a primer on the brain and nervous system” for secondary school educators and students. New to this edition were the introduction of eight “core concepts”. To reinforce these concepts, Dever Designs chose to create individual icons to highlight specialized content dispersed throughout the chapters. For the print edition, a fold out legend to the concepts was created to serve as both a quick reference guide and place holding bookmark.
